Hi, I’m Jen from Rotorua, New Zealand, and I started this brand for one simple reason: I was tired of feeling like I had to hide on my period.

For years I put up with bulky, uncomfortable period underwear that only came in black. They made me feel restricted, self-conscious, and like my body was something to cover up. I’d avoid certain clothes, skip the gym, or just feel “less than” for a few days every month. And I kept thinking… why does it have to be this way?

I knew I wasn’t the only woman who felt this. So many of us want to stay active, feel confident, and still look and feel like ourselves — even on our heaviest days. We don’t want to choose between protection and feeling good.

That’s why I created Bleed Bold.

I set out to make period underwear that actually works with your life. Soft, breathable, and genuinely leak-proof, with styles that feel modern and flattering (yes, including seamless thongs you can wear under gym tights). Protection you can trust, without the bulk or the shame.
